While loading some mods you might receive this error message, "Needed to allocate at least 4096.0 MB to load images".   Try the following steps to fix this error.

Turn On Specular Map

  • Main Menu > OPTIONS & CONTROLS
  • GRAPHICS
  •  Set Specular Map to Yes

Set Texture Quality to Automatic

  • Main Menu > OPTIONS & CONTROLS
  • TEXTURE SETTINGS
  • Set Texture Qualty to Automatic
STEP

Turn Off Steam Overlay

  • In Steam go to Settings
  •  In-Game and Uncheck "Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game
  • Click Ok and restart Call of Duty World at War.
