This is the first map released in the silent hill map pack.  This map was based off of the school in the movie Silent Hill.  
I made it as close as possible to the school from the movie. This map was made Der Reise style.

Know bugs:

When you link teleporters, it may say teleporter cooling down” or press f to link” but it still works just fine other than that most bugs were fixed in beta testing and havent found any since

Other:

This map was meant to be hard and because of that I didnt disable cheats like I was going to. So if you think you have skills then play without cheats and
if you don’t have skills then you know what they say “if you cant take the heat, then get out of the kitchen” and cheat.

NOTE:

I did not portal this map and you MAY have to lower your graphic settings if you have lag or you have a low quality graphics card. I pushed radiant to the max adding as many things as I could for better quality and better experience. All of the beta testers did not have any problem.

Description



This is version v1.1.  It fixes several bugs and glitches.

Fixes:
1.  You can’t get outside the map (as far as I know).
2.  You can’t walk through the stove upstairs.
3.  The browning now has sound.
4.  You can’t walk on the ledge behind the hole upstairs.

Story background:  
Welcome aboard marines.  Your task today is to investigate some mysterious happenings at a local compound.  You will take the train from here and find out what is going on.  If all goes well you should be back having dinner with your families tonight, if not… Well, I wish you the best of luck.  Semper Fi.

Story real-time:
Marine 1:  Man this train sure is noisy.
Marine 2:  You’re telling me man.
Marine 3:  Quiet marines we’re almost there.
Marine 4:  I thought this was supposed to be an easy run sarge?
Marine 3:  You can never be too careful, soldier.

*Brakes Screeching*

Marine 2:  Hey , we’re slowing down.
Marine 3:  Sit tight till we fully stop, no use in jumping out of a moving train and spraining an ankle.
Marine 1:  OK we’ve stopped.
Marine 3:  Open the door.
Marine 4:  O SHOOT!! WHAT IS THAT!!
Marine 3:  EVERYONE OUT!  LET’S MOVE! WE GOT COMPANY!
Marine 2:  MAN THEY GOT THE DRIVER AND ENGINEER ALREADY!
Marine 3:  Quickly, through this gate.  Lock it tight.
Marine 1:  Man, they are coming over the freakin walls!
Marine 3:  C’mon guys let’s move!  Into the house, lock the door!
Marine 4:  What do we do now, they are still coming over the walls.
Marine 2:  Sarge they are approaching the house!
Marine 3:  Weapons free, I repeat we are weapons free!  This is what you’ve trained for marines, time to lock ‘n’ load.

It has been ONE HELL OF A BIG learning experience making this map and there´s probable some things that could be done otherwise.

Storyline:

You and your co-workers are working overtime in the week-end.
When your shift is over and about to go home you realize that there is something rotten in the state of Denmark.
Fight your way through the halls and enter the Last Stand Area and beat the game !

Storyline:
While on a scouting mission around mars your ship malfunctioned and is rapidly losing fuel, you come across what seems to be an abandoned outpost and make an emergency landing, only the outpost is not as abandoned as first thought…  

Your mission
Refuel the ship, obtain a new power core and haul a*s off the outpost!

Lock and load marines you’re in for one hell of a ride.

Features:
*Objective based gameplay
*Winnable ending
*Rankings and awards dependent on winning the map (to gain a rank you MUST be alive and inside the ship)
*Max rank is 21
*The higher your rank, the less fuel you are awarded (to balance gameplay out)
*Fuel (This must be picked up and placed into the ship)
*Lever puzzle (in the final room, levers must be pulled in the right combination)
*Power core (this can be obtained after completing the lever puzzle)

So I have been working on this map for a while and think is time I threw it out as a beta. By the way this is my first map…. Big thanks to tom_bmx for all his help, Mr Hankey for the script placer and all the good people here at custom cod that helped me a long the way. Thanks to the testers Burton, Found_you, Fragreaper, labratt and jefferoo.

This is map is pretty big with lots of room and all the perk machines. Pack a punch and moving mystery box. Der reise style with shi no stuff too. Win-able ending

Known bugs:

Power ups: I didn’t put them in too make the map harder… Did this on purpose

Respawning: Now this need a little explanation. So if you are playing in co op and you get downed and die. When you respawn the next round you will have no guns. In order to get guns back you will need to buy them off the wall or from the box. If you buy a gun from the box it will get you 1 weapon slot back. If you buy off the wall you will get 2 weapon slots. So box = 1 weapon slot till you buy a gun off the wall then you will have 2. Wall = 2 weapon slots. Never could figure out what I did wrong but I like it. Make it a little more interesting. You might think so but just don’ die

Thats about it. I am sure you all are going to find more. Let me know what you find and I will looking into fixing. For the most part unless it really affects game play I will wait till I get a few of them for I fix the bugs just to save time in uploading the flie. With that all being said thanks for checking out my map. I know I had fun learning and making. Just hope you have the same fun playing it.
